NY Lagotto is a home breeder of AKC-registered Lagotti Romagnoli. Both mom (Nutella) and dad (Truffles) are our beloved pets that are part of our Westchester, New York family. Lagotti are smart, loyal and friendly dogs that make excellent family companions. They are also hypoallergenic, and low shedding. To learn more about the breed in general, click here.
What makes my puppies even more special is that the parents and puppies really live in my home as pets. They are never kept in kennels. The puppies are exposed to normal household sounds from day 1, and they are handled with love by us. Furthermore, I never force my dogs to have puppies by using artificial insemination or other unnatural processes.
Both mom and dad are AKC registered with pedigrees. DNA tests have confirmed that they are both 100% purebred Lagotto Romagnolo, and neither carries the genes for any known canine heritable disease. Both mom and dad have always been completely healthy, and all puppies from their previous litters have been healthy.

I have made the heart-breaking decision to not breed Nutella anymore, so the litter born on 9/25/2023 will be her last. She really is an incredible dog- her sweet personality and intelligence are unparalleled. Anybody who has one of her puppies is truly fortunate. I will likely keep one of her daughters to possibly breed, but I will not be having any litters in the near future. Please email me if you want to be put on a waiting list.
